Sizing

Order the same size as your trouser waist — not 2 inches larger as some brands suggest. If your waist is 32 inches, order size 32.

Go with the larger size. Our auto-lock ratchet belts adjust in small increments, so a slightly larger belt gives you more room to dial in the perfect fit. For hole-style belts, size up as well — you can always use a tighter hole.
We offer sizes 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, and 42 inches. If your size isn't available on a particular product, WhatsApp us at +91 82872 54548 — we may be able to help.
Belt size refers to your waist measurement, not the total belt length. The total length of the belt will be longer — it includes the excess strap beyond the buckle. The size you pick should match your trouser waist exactly.
We don't offer custom sizing through the website at the moment. However, for bulk or corporate orders with specific requirements, email us and we'll discuss what's possible.
Most of our belts are 35mm wide, which fits standard trouser belt loops comfortably. Our formal belts are 30mm for a sleeker look. The exact width is mentioned on each product page.
Shipping

Yes — free shipping on all orders across India. No minimum order value, no hidden delivery charges.
Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days from our facility in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Delivery typically takes 4–7 business days depending on your location. Metro cities usually arrive faster.
Orders placed before 11 AM on weekdays are dispatched the same day. After 11 AM, dispatch is the next business day. Saturdays after 11 AM and Sundays dispatch on Monday.
Currently we only ship within India. International shipping is something we're exploring — drop us an email if you're outside India and we'll let you know when it becomes available.
Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive a tracking link via email and SMS. You can also log into your account on leatherpatta.com to check your order status. If you didn't receive a tracking update, WhatsApp us with your order number.
We ship via Shiprocket, Delhivery, and Blue Dart depending on your pincode and serviceability. The courier is selected to give you the fastest and most reliable delivery for your location.

Exchange & Returns

Yes. We offer a 7-day exchange policy for size issues. Contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll arrange a size exchange — subject to availability.
Belt must be unused, unworn, and in its original packaging to qualify for exchange.
Simply WhatsApp us at +91 82872 54548 or email leatherpatta@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number and the size you need. We'll guide you through the next steps.
We currently offer exchanges, not refunds, except in cases of a manufacturing defect or if we shipped the wrong item. In those cases, we will either replace the product or issue a full refund — your choice.
We're sorry — this shouldn't happen. Contact us immediately with your order number and a photo of the item. We'll arrange a free replacement or full refund at your preference, no questions asked.
For size exchanges, the customer typically arranges and pays for return shipping. We'll cover the cost of shipping the new size back to you. For defective or wrong items, we cover both the return and replacement shipping.
We process orders quickly. If you need to cancel, contact us within 2 hours of placing the order via WhatsApp at +91 82872 54548. Once dispatched, the order cannot be cancelled but you can initiate an exchange after delivery.
Product & Quality

Yes — all Leather Patta belts are made from 100% genuine full-grain leather. No bonded leather. No PU imitation. You can tell the difference by the natural grain texture, the weight, and how the leather ages and develops a patina over time.
Instead of fixed holes, our auto-lock belts have a ratchet track along the inside of the strap. The buckle locks into any position along this track in small increments — giving you a perfect, custom fit every time. To release, press the buckle button and slide the strap out.
Keep it dry — avoid prolonged exposure to water or sweat. Condition it every few months with a leather conditioner to prevent cracking. Store it flat or rolled, not folded. Avoid leaving it in direct sunlight for long periods, which can fade the colour. With basic care, a genuine leather belt will last years.
A reversible belt has two colours on either side — typically black and brown. A special rotating buckle lets you flip the belt to switch between colours. One belt, two looks. Great value, especially for travel.
Genuine leather naturally develops a patina over time — a darkening and deepening of colour that most people find more beautiful than the original. This is a sign of quality leather aging well, not a defect. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to maintain colour vibrancy.

Yes — Cash on Delivery is available for most pincodes across India. COD availability is shown at checkout based on your delivery address.

Yes. All transactions are processed through Razorpay and Shopify Payments, both of which are PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant. We never store your card details on our servers. Your connection is always SSL encrypted (HTTPS).
This can sometimes happen if there's a payment gateway timeout. Check your bank/UPI statement first — if money was deducted, contact us at leatherpatta@gmail.com or WhatsApp with your transaction reference. We'll verify and either confirm your order or arrange a refund within 2 business days.
Warranty

Our 1-year warranty covers manufacturing defects — including buckle failure, stitching coming apart, ratchet mechanism malfunction, and leather delamination. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, water exposure, or normal wear and tear.
Email us at leatherpatta@gmail.com with the subject line "Warranty Claim". Include your order number and photos of the defect. We'll assess it and get back to you within 3 business days with a resolution — either a repair, replacement, or refund.
Yes. If a belt is replaced under warranty, the new belt carries a fresh 1-year warranty from the date of replacement.
If it's a manufacturing defect, yes — you're covered under warranty since it's within 1 year. Contact us with photos and your order number. If it appears to be wear and tear or damage from improper use, we'll still try to help find a reasonable solution.
